Di Zhang, graduated with Postgraduate-diploma (RIBA Part 2) in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London) in 2007 and gained Bachelor (RIBA Part 1) in Architecture from University of Sheffield in 2004. She is a Registered Architect (Architect Registration Board UK) as well as the Chartered Architect of Royal Institute British Architect (RIBA). Her previous working experiences include Foster +Partners (London) (2007-2010) and RHWL Architects (London) (2004-2005). In 2010, she founded waa (we architech anonymous) in Beijing and acting as Principal Partner.
Di Zhang was shortlisted for AR Women in Architecture Awards 2016 – Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture.She was appointed as RIBA Awards Local Ambassador in 2021.
